摘要: The wear characteristics of aluminum-silicon alloys were studied using a pin-on-disk-type tester with different types lubricants under fully flooded condition. Aluminum-silicon alloy pin specimens run against the same disc surfaces. Wear tests showed that resistance was largely influenced by type lubricant. Test results hydrocarbon-based fluids such as mineral oils or poly-a-olefins exhibit better wear-protecting property and higher load-carrying capacity than polar base polyol esters polyalkylene glycols. This is contrary to iron-iron systems. effect water on scuffing also investigated. Water found promote formation aluminum oxide silicon layers surface which reduced rate increased load for alloy.
