摘要: Abstract Al-Pb alloys have a potential to act as plain bearing alloys. Al-12%Si and Al-12%Si-1%Cu-1.5%Mg along with varying amounts of lead (from 4 16 wt.%) are used for wear testing. Wear experiments were conducted on pin-on-disc machine. The worn-out test pin surface topography, sub-surface damage debris studied by SEM. surfaces all the showed multitude distinct topographical features in SEM images. It was found that number processes, such delamination, adhesion abrasion, take part removal metal debris, no single process is responsible from sliding surfaces. presence base reduce friction.
