摘要: The Dissociative Symptoms Scale (DSS) was developed to assess moderately severe levels of depersonalization, derealization, gaps in awareness or memory, and dissociative reexperiencing that would be relevant a wide range clinical populations. Structural analyses data from four five nonclinical samples ( N = 1,600) yielded factors reflected the domains interest showed good fit with data. Sample scores were consistent expectations very internal consistency temporal stability. Analyses evidence convergent divergent validity, posttrauma elevations patients posttraumatic stress disorder provided additional construct validity. Item response theory indicated items assessed experiences. Overall, results provide support for reliability validity DSS total subscale populations studied. Further work is needed evaluate performance relative structured interview measures other psychological disorders.
