摘要: Research on what we call the energy of a graph can be traced back to 1940s or even 1930s. In 1930s, German scholar Erich Huckel put forward method for finding approximate solutions Schrodinger equation class organic molecules, so-called conjugated hydrocarbons. Details this approach, often referred as “Huckel molecular orbital (HMO) theory” found in appropriate textbooks [76, 101].
