摘要: In recent years, agricultural farms in Peru have started to implement equipment for anaerobic digestion of the organic residues their production. At first, main objective implementation was obtain bio-fertilizers, but this process, biogas also obtained. Farms did not use biofuel any which is why they freed it or burnt torches, polluting environment both ways, due content methane. This last fuel has a high global warming potential (GWP) and carbon dioxide, result burning pollutant. context, an experimental device designed built evaluate performance Diesel cycle engine generator set 40 kW using diesel as fuels. The had fixed speed 1800 RPM. tests were initially carried out only comparable parameters. made simulating electric load 62.5%. After this, conversion kit installed allow engine. controls Duty Cycle, value between 0 1 that indicates percentage time injectors are opened. used input signals generated power, electronic governor signal exhaust gases temperature. Then, partially substituting biogas. test contained approximately 40% results indicated higher Cycles (higher quantities biogas), temperatures increased, superior temperature combustion. With methane available biogas, substitution rates reached 17,9% 36,7%, maintaining power reducing significantly consumption diesel. technology makes possible modular production energy farms, usually isolated, allowing commonly produced same place with manage, diminishing pollution, costs useful purposes.
