摘要: Aspiration has been suggested as a source of pulmonary complications seen in patients with tracheal intubation. A previous study demonstrated that the high incidence aspiration tracheostomies can be decreased by modification tracheostomy tube cuff design. In present protocol, 100 endotracheal tubes place were studied to document and attempt decrease Utilizing an Evans blue dye test detect aspiration, 27 48 (56%) standard low volume, pressure cuffed had positive tests. 17 modified tubes, was 29% (5 patients). further 20% (7 patients) 35 tubes.
