摘要: Malaria in pregnancy is one of the major causes maternal morbidity worldwide, and leads to poor birth outcomes. There a complex interaction between parasite-all favour parasite disadvantage pregnant woman. Women who are semi-immune lose much that immunity. They may present with placental malaria but no parasites their peripheral blood. A non-immune women her fetus at serious risk from falciparum malaria.
