摘要: Minerals are nutrients that may function as enzymatic cofactors, components of the skeletal system or constituents organic compounds. They classed macro- micro-minerals (trace elements) depending upon dietary requirement. Unlike animal studies involve experimentally induced deficiencies single nutrients, link in humans between nutrient intake and outcome pregnancy is less secure. Except for rare occurrences, inadequate a mineral not an isolated event but occurs conjunction with lifestyle factors be correlated differences education, occupation, ethnicity, additional inadequacies (energy, protein, other minerals). This chapter will examine documented influence (iron, zinc, copper, selenium, iodine, chromium, fluoride, manganese, molybdenum) macro-minerals (calcium magnesium) on course human pregnancy.
