摘要: The concept of absorptive capacity is one the main drivers new product development. However, has been treated as a concrete, uni-dimensional proxy targeting RD acquisition, assimilation, transformation, and utilization external information/knowledge have rarely theoretically analyzed in relation to firm innovativeness development (NPD) literature. Addressing this particular gap literature, we develop conceptual model encapsulating simultaneous but differential interrelationships between variables innovation particular. This study contributes literature three ways. First, theoretical framework proposed highlights effects on innovation. Hence focus is, distinguishing from other types, building background for relationship innovativeness. Second, based extended reconceptualization Zahra George (2002) aims assess roles NPD efforts. Thus propose multidimensional operationalization construct through; transformation capabilities embedded within firm’s capacity. Third, research integrates knowledge management through offering where process consisting organizational routines which not only acquires also assimilates, transforms exploits leaning basic determinants management.
