摘要: Abstract Mixing pigs prior to slaughter results in skin blemishes and loss of meat quality. Two hundred each weighing 104 kg were used two trials. They crosses Hampshire, Duroc Yorkshire which had been fed weight on ad libitum concentrate rations. Groups 50 head barrows gilts from five different feeding pens mixed a shipping pen transport. Half the animals with sexually mature boars, other half controls. Boar presence greatly reduced both incidence intensity fighting. Pigs boar groups blemishes.
