摘要: Abstract Cytochrome P-454 of rat kidney cortex microsomes and cytochrome liver are involved in the ω-oxidation fatty acids catalyzed at approximately equal rates by both tissues. In contrast to microsomes, catalyze oxidative demethylation aminopyrine a very slow rate reveal no measurable testosterone hydroxylation activity. Whereas laurate gives rise type I spectral change when added either or produces II with microsomes. When rats fed standard diet supplemented 10 % lauric acid level, as well binding capacity for laurate, increases markedly, whereas activity is moderately enhanced. Phenobarbital treatment, on other hand, has measureable effects level The results suggest that there exist differences substrate specificity response various inducing agents between CO-binding hemoproteins
