摘要: There is a need to further our understanding of the neurophysiological effects chiropractic spinal manipulation on brain activity as it pertains both musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal complaints. This paper aims provide basic overview most commonly utilised techniques in neurosciences for functional imaging (positron emission tomography, single-photon computerised magnetic resonance imaging, electroencephalography, magnetoencephalography), discuss their applicability future research. Functional neuroimaging modalities are used wide range different research clinical settings, powerful tools investigation neuronal human brain. many potential applications research, but there some feasibility issues, mainly pertaining access funding. We strongly encourage use investigations function.
