摘要: Abstract In contrast to all other known forms of protein glycosylation, certain recently described protein-saccharide structures are highly localized the nucleoplasmic and cytoplasmic compartments cell. The presence these novel saccharides on proteins nuclear pore, chromatin cytoskeleton poses fascinating questions concerning their possible functions, modes biosynthesis, potential roles in intracellular transport.
