摘要: The hepatitis C virus (HCV) commonly causes persistent infection and chronic liver disease, it is an important risk factor for the development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). mechanisms responsible HCV persistence disease pathogenesis are not well understood, although likely that both direct (virus-induced) indirect (immunologically mediated) play role. This review focuses on current knowledge interactions between host immune system, emphasizing aspects cellular response. Observations in humans infected with as experimental chimpanzees suggest natural does induce protective immunity at humoral or levels. Indeed, anti-HCV seroconversion prevent reinfection by homologous independent viral inocula. A CD4+ T lymphocyte response directed against all putative proteins occurs chronically patients despite their failure to clear virus. While core NS4 seem be most immunogenic peripheral blood cell level during infection, there some evidence NS4-specific preferentially compartmentalized liver. Similarly, CD8+ cytotoxic (CTL) remarkably polyclonal multispecific since epitopes located recognized CTL present and/or intrahepatic populations this disease.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
