摘要: Abstract Nowadays, patients are demanding not only enhancement to their dental (micro) esthetics, but also overall facial (macro) esthetics. Soft tissue augmentation via dermal filling agents may be used correct defects such as wrinkles caused by age, gravity, and trauma; thin lips; asymmetrical appearances; buccal fold depressions; others. This article will review the pathogenesis of wrinkles, history, techniques, materials, complications, clinical controversies regarding fillers for soft augmentation.
