摘要: Thyroid hormone uptake into primary cultured rat hepatocytes was studied using 1-min incubations with radio-iodine-labelled iodothyronines. (1) Uptake of thyroxine indicates two saturable sites apparent Km values 1.2 nM and 1.0 μM, non-saturable uptake. Similar kinetics triiodothyronine have been observed. (2) The high-affinity systems both hormones are energy-dependent (i.e., inhibited by KCN oligomycin). It is postulated that these represent active transport thyroid the cell. (3) Analysis mutual inhibition substrates for triiodothyromine cross cell membrane via separate systems. (4) Preincubation ouabain resulted in a decrease thyroxine, suggesting sodium gradient essential this transport.
