摘要: Concentrations of Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Pb and Zn are measured in the atmospheric particulates from urban Islamabad, Pakistan during diurnal nocturnal periods. On an average, total suspended concentrations Fe Mg levels considerably higher day time Cu night time. Significantly diverse correlations elements observed both particulates. Multivariate principal component analysis reveals major anthropogenic contributions due to automobile emissions, combustion processes industrial emissions. Enrichment factors show dominant Cd Pb, followed by Zn, Cr Ca Comparison metal this study with those previous studies Islamabad other areas around world shows than some European cities but, general, lower large metropolitan cities.
