摘要: Abstract A polarisation-insensitive electro-optic (EO) waveguide consisting of a dye-doped TiO 2 /SiO slab and SU-8 strip-loaded rib is designed fabricated. By optimizing the refractive index size waveguide, trade-off between condition large EO efficiency (optical field interaction with material) obtained. The average transmission loss less than 2.0 dB/cm. Mach–Zehnder (M–Z) interferometer intensity modulator based on this excellent poling stability fabricated measured, exhibiting 7 V half-wave voltage 1.8 cm length 2.7 cm total length. This structure proved to be valuable application in modulators switches.
