摘要: Most processes involving bubbling in a liquid require small bubbles to maximise mass/energy transfer. A common method prevent from coalescing is by the addition of surfactants. In order get an insight into coalescence process, capillary were observed using high speed cinematography. Experiments performed solutions 1-pentanol, 4-methyl-2-pentanol, tri(propylene glycol) methyl ether, and poly(propylene for which information such as time deformation resultant bubble upon was extracted. It shown this study that increases with surfactant concentration until appearance plateau. The increase could not be attributed only surface elasticity. oscillation characterised damping oscillation. results suggested minimum elasticity required achieve increased considerable diffusion has detrimental effect on dynamic response bubble, thereby reducing damping.
