摘要: In the potato, Kunitz-type enzyme inhibitors are abundant and highly polymorphic small proteins found in tubers. DNA sequence analysis of 1596 unselected ESTs (expressed tags) from mature tubers cultivars Provita Saturna resulted identification 55 different sequences with high similarity to inhibitors. The frequency inhibitor was four times higher than tubers, none identical any ESTs. A phenogram constructed deduced amino acid revealed three major homology groups-A, B C. Group were all derived Inhibitor groups more similar each other group C inhibitors, for most members within-group at least 90%. Non-conservative substitutions insertion/deletion polymorphisms suggest functional differentiation between gene family. minimum 21 genes (six A, nine six C) estimated exist potato genome. Genetic mapping BAC (bacterial artificial chromosome) clones containing one member family indicated that organized a cluster maps single region on chromosome III.
