摘要: We have investigated a novel device concept for generating CW millimeter waves with output power in the multiwatt range. The involves utilization of modulated laser radiation to induce distributed Schottky-diode structure traveling-wave current which, turn, synchronously excites dominant mode waveguide generate power. induced is directly proportional modulation generated by interference two overlapping beams beat frequency. Detailed analysis indicates that has both high-output and frequency-tunable characteristics.
