Wet cupping therapy restores sympathovagal imbalances in cardiac rhythm.

摘要: Abstract Objectives: A recent study showed that cupping had therapeutic effects in rats with myocardial infarction and cardiac arrhythmias. The current studyaimed to investigate the possible useful of therapy on rhythm terms heart rate variability (HRV). Materials methods: Forty healthy participants were included. Classic wet was applied five points back. Recording electrocardiography (to determine HRV) 1 hour before after therapy. Results: All HRV parameters increased compared persons. Conclusions: These results indicate for first time humans might be cardioprotective. In this study, restored sympathovagal imbalances by stimulating peripheral nervous system.
