摘要: CO2 injection in unmineable coal seams could be one interesting option for both storage and methane recovery processes. The objective of this study is to compare model pure gas sorption isotherms (CO2 CH4) well-characterised coals different maturities determine the most suitable storage. Carbon dioxide adsorption on several have been investigated using a gravimetric method. experiments were carried out CH4 gases at 25 °C from 0.1 5 MPa (1 50 bar). experimental results fitted Temkin's approach but also with corrected Langmuir's Toth's equations. two last approaches are more accurate thermodynamical point view, advantage taking into account fact that data (isotherms) correspond excess capacities. These allow better quantification adsorbed gas. Determined capacities 0.5 2 mmol/g dry coal. Modelling provides affinity parameters coals. We shown these determined models used classification first selection ratio ranges value close 1 immature 41 high rank like anthracites. This allows selecting having In our case, modelling significant number various ranks shows anthracites seem highest Our quality values future seams.
