摘要: BACKGROUND: Uncontrolled cell proliferation and malignant transformation are the basic elements in development of disease including cervical cancer its precursors. The aim this study was to investigate proliferative activity by using Ki-67 marker according CIN grade. METHODS: We used immunohistochemical methods expression specimens 5 patients with normal epithelium, 7 CIN1, 13 CIN2, 25 CIN3 grade intraepithelial lesions. RESULTS: All cases epithelium all those CIN1 changes had negative index. positive index found (38.46%) 17 (68%) CIN2 respectively. There a clear trend for increasing number High significant difference between lesions (t=2.9; p<0.01). cells were distributed only lower third epithelial layer cases. Seven (53.8%) (52%) respectively, middle layer, while 3 (23.1%) 10 (40%) same dysplastic lower, upper epithelium. Difference distribution highly patient changes. CONCLUSION: present shows that there is statistically relation activity, cells, antigen could be tool identify women who at higher risk progression and/or recurrence squamous precancerous
