摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses a study to investigate long-term potentiation in the hippocampal slice. Male Wistar rats were decapitated after ether anesthesia. The brain was quickly removed and transferred into icecold, freshly oxygenated Ringer solution. After cooling, hippocampus prepared free cut slices of 500 μm with razor blades. measuring chamber, which constantly perfused solution kept at temperature 34–35°C. one hour incubation, recording stimulation electrodes placed under visual guidance. Recordings made by means glass microelectrodes, filled 3M NaCl. An initial negative going potential, representing extracellular EPSP, encountered str. moleculare. potential reversed polarity granulosum. A population spike as sharp deflection granulosum, attenuated
