THE EFFECT OF MODES OF DELIVERY ON INFANTS' FEEDING PRACTICES

摘要: Breast feeding has a great impact on the infant morbidity and mortality. According to Pakistan Demographic Health survey (PDHS) mortality rate is 78 deaths per 1,000 live births. World Organization recommends that exclusive breast for six months can decrease by one-third. The objective of study was find out how mode delivery had practice feeding. Data were collected 2500 consecutive patients during period two years, it seen maternal initiative feed low problems with lactation much more in cases delivering their ba-bies via cesarean sections than those theirs normal delivery. Vaginal section deliveries took place 54% 46% case, respectively. Thirty percent women studied felt they no regarding breastfeeding, but 70% them some sort breastfeeding babies. When matched delivery, 58% who belonged group 42% complaining mothers from relative risk having subjected 1.38 odds ratio 0.61. findings present indicate depth counseling sessions are required undergoing operative improve among them.
