摘要: This work presents a technique for flexural strengthening and stiffness increasing of precast beam-to-column connections by the embedding FRP strips into grooves made on concrete cover. According to this technique, tension in connection is transferred Near-Surface Mounted (NSM) strips. To allow transference compression efforts among elements, empty spaces are filled out with grout. Small-scale specimens were developed represent resistant mechanisms pined composed elastomeric cushion dowels. The results bond tests conducted decision about adhesive type length be employed specimens.
