摘要: Abstract On the basis of light scattering and dye binding studies, palmityl-CoA forms micelles in aqueous solution which appear to have a critical micelle concentration 3 4 μM presence 0.01 M K+, an aggregation number around 1000. After chromatography on silicic acid, are larger more variable size. Micelle formation is also demonstrated by increase p K 's seen for adenine group (5.6–5.7) secondary phosphate (7.1–7.2) relative values CoA (4.0 6.3). The absorptivity band 260 mμ same as free molecule dilute salt (below cation), but at high cation (1 M) molar reduced approx. 15%. Solvent perturbation studies with 2 H O show that groups exposed environment both low concentration. This hypochromic effect apparently caused base stacking largely nonstereospecific fashion, can be reversed β-Schardinger dextrin, specific complexing agent groups. begins drop less lower pH. At concentrations where observed, below 0.5 μM, addition 30% methanol raises this value 6 1 KC1.
