摘要: A 5-year review (1998-2002) was done at the pulmonary unit of University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Nigeria to determine pattern presentation tuberculosis (TB) and prevalence TB human Immunodefiency virus (HIV) co-infection. total one thousand patients were managed for but 777 confirmed as having had their case files analysed. There 418 males 359 females giving a male female ratio 1.16:1.00. Pulmonary (PTB) accounted 78.6% seen over period, followed by meningitis 7.8% then spine 6.8% that lymph node 4.1%. The other types (Abdomen, pericardial miliary) less than 3%. highest number cases (27.8%) in 20-29 age group both those 40 years (26.0%).
