摘要: Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the epidemiology acoustic neuroma and determine current trends in therapy using tumor registry techniques.Study Design: Analysis a national database.Subjects Methods: Surveillance Epidemiology End Results (SEER) database is that began identify abstract benign borderline tumors brain central nervous system year 2004. Coding for International Classification Diseases Oncology (ICD-O-3) codes schwannoma (9560/0) with collaborative staging (CS) coding nerve (72.4) used neuromas. Demographic data, size, treatment data were analyzed.Results: A total 1621 patients identified, an incidence rate 1.1/100,000. Mean age 53.1 years.
