摘要: The study was focused on the structure–activity relationship of some newly synthesized hexacoordinated dimethyltin(IV) complexes fluorinated β-diketone/β-diketones and sterically congested heterocyclic β-diketones. These were screened for their antibacterial activity against a Gram-negative bacterium (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) Gram-positive bacteria (Streptomyces griseus, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis) results compared with those standard drug. Some also antifungal various fungi (Aspergillus niger, A. flavus, Trichoderma viride, Fusarium oxysporum) found to be active. new generated by reactions dichloride sodium salts β-diketones in 1:1:1 molar ratio refluxing dry benzene. Plausible structures these suggested aid physicochemical spectroscopic studies. 119Sn NMR spectral data revealed presence tin centre complexes. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
