摘要: The increasing knowledge on the functional relevance of endogenous small RNAs as riboregulators has stimulated identification and characterization these molecules in many eukaryotes. RNA act to suppress gene expression through interference (RNAi) pathways, which may differ among organisms. These pathways are normally involved genome defense heterochromatin formation, while their role regulation fungal models been scarcely studied. Mucor circinelloides is a basal fungus subphylum Mucoromycotina, evolutionary distant Ascomycota Basidiomycota fungi. M. used model system for studying silencing mechanism this functions. This review summarizes our current genes RNAi pathway, whose central core consists Dicer, Argonaute, RNA-dependent polymerase proteins. We will also discuss possible functionality machinery other Mucoromycotina species, given presence components sequences. Finally, we present an overview different classes accumulated by how regulate control cellular
