摘要: Upregulation of adhesion molecule expression on endothelial cells (EC) and circulating leukocytes, by locally produced inflammatory mediators, may result in the enhanced infiltration leukocytes into tissue, e.g. airways asthma patients. The present study investigates whether molecules granulocytes monocytes from patients is affected chemotactic factors, i.e. interleukin-8 (IL-8) monocyte protein-1 (MCP-1). Flow cytometric analysis showed that intrinsic various peripheral blood phagocytes was not different healthy individuals. However, stimulation with MCP-1 resulted only upregulation CD14 symptomatic but asymptomatic Stimulation IL-8 did change beta 1- 2-integrin molecules, such as VLA-4, LFA-1, CR3 p150,95. Since earlier studies have shown mediates to activated vascular EC findings suggest during active phase lead an increased endothelium their subsequent transendothelial migration tissue airways.
