摘要: Forest canopies affect the amounts of water and nutrients reaching forest soils. Water nutrient inputs under are thus different from those in nearby open areas. Canopies intercept retain part incident precipitation (intercepted water), which is eventually evaporated canopy lost to atmosphere. passing through can reach floor after dripping leaves branches (through-fall) or flowing down stems trees (stemflow). The sum throughfall stemflow called net effective (Parker 1983). that does not appear on by either these routes interception loss. Interception has received special attention a number hydrology studies using experimental modelling approaches (e.g. Rutter Morton 1977; Gash 1979; Massman 1983; Bouten et al. 1996).
