摘要: Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in bone metabolism and immune system. Low levels (< 50 nmol/l) have been widely reported all age groups recent years. Lack of associated with increased overall cardiovascular mortality, cancer incidence autoimmune diseases. deficiency rising, mainly due to modern lifestyle malabsorption disorders. As adequate intake hard achieve through the diet alone, dietary supplements are recommended. Sun exposure (ultraviolet B radiation, UVB) represents main source D, which synthesised skin. UVB intensity varies year time day. The peak period between 10 am 4 pm from April till October (above 40° latitude). There no universal consent on amount frequency supplementation. A sufficient supplementation necessary whole life cycle, especially during lactation. With lactation (4,000 IU/day) mother covers her own breast milk also child`s nutritional needs (400 for D. However, further research this field needed before recommending such high nursing mothers. New German Reference values 2012 advises 400 IU / day infants first life, afterwards 800 IU/day entire population.
