摘要: Data transfers in computing systems with memory hierarchies usually prolong time and, consequently, cause degradation of system performance. A method to determine data processing rates and the relative utilization memories for various configurations under a variety program loads is presented. According this method, program-independent ultimate rate derived from characteristics processor fastest random access system, factors are determined by combining statistics flow actual programs hardware parameters all memories. The hierarchy obtained analyzing number recorded address traces executed programs. presented permits quick evaluation performance arbitrary periods maximum minimum concurrence operation processors
