How rewarding is technical analysis? Evidence from Singapore stock market

摘要: This paper focuses on the role of technical analysis in signalling timing stock market entry and exit. Test statistics are introduced to test performance most established trend followers, Moving Average, frequently used counter-trend indicator, Relative Strength Index. Using Singapore data, results indicate that indicators can be generate significantly positive return. It is found member firms Stock Exchange (SES) tend enjoy substantial profits by applying indicators. could reason why do have their own trading teams rely heavily analysis.
