摘要: Objectives: To evaluate the long-term outcomes of transurethral resection prostate (TURP) immediately after high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment for cancer (CaP). Methods: The present retrospective study included 65 CaP patients who underwent HIFU alone and 64 TURP HIFU. was carried out using a Sonablate-500 device (Focus Surgery, Indianapolis, IN, USA). International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) occurrence urinary complications, such as urethral stricture during follow-up, were statistically compared between groups. Results: Clinical stage tended to be lower + group (P = 0.0311), but none preoperative parameters differed significantly Both catheterization time < 0.0001) post-treatment IPSS at 6, 12, 24 months Urethral strictures noted in 16 (24.6%) HIFU-only seven (10.9%) patients. Bladder neck contracture 11 (68.8%) with group, just two (28.6%) group. Multiple logistic regression analyses showed that volume 0.0118) strong factor prevention stricture. Conclusions: Our results suggest combining an following improves status without causing additional morbidity.
