摘要: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia and lacks disease-altering treatments. Ginsenoside Rb1 (GsRb1), key active compounds ginsenoside found in ginseng. The present study aimed to determine whether GsRb1 could prevent cognitive deficit take neuroprotective effects Aβ1-40-induced rat model through apoptotic signaling pathway. Injection soluble Aβ1-40 into hippocampus caused impairment learning memory. Daily administration (12.5, 25, 50 mg/kg, i.p.) for 14 consecutive days. All rats were tested their capabilities spatial navigation memorization by Morris water maze. Apoptosis was using TUNEL staining neuronal cells. RT-PCR, immunohistochemical western blotting employed confirm expressions Bcl-2, Bax Cleaved Caspase-3. results showed that deficit, significantly decreased levels Caspase-3 meanwhile up regulation level Bcl-2 hippocampus. We suggest may be effective preventing or slowing development disease, which improving memory functions inhibiting pro-apoptosis mediators anti-apoptosis brain.
