摘要: Background/Purpose Varicocele (VC) is considered by the World Health Organization as main cause of male infertility. Studies have shown that VC can affect spermatogenesis and then result in But exact mechanism which affects still unclear. Stem cell factor (SCF) c-KIT receptor are crucial molecules during testis. This study aims to investigate whether SCF/c-KIT signaling involved pathophysiology on spermatogenesis. Methods Rat models were built ( n = 13), sham-operated rats used controls = 8). The seminiferous tubules testis observed with hematoxylin eosin staining, expression SCF was analyzed via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay Western blot, assessed blot immunofluorescence. Results Compared controls, epithelium disorganized had significantly fewer cells testes VC. Expression increased rats, while decreased. Conclusion These results suggest sperm counts affected VC, system aberrantly expressed testis, could be infertility caused
