摘要: Abstract We present the preparation, characterization and catalytic evaluation of gold-based catalysts over Al2O3, ZrO2 10% ZrO2/Al2O3 in selective CO oxidation. Oxidation reduction pretreatments were evaluated using situ X-ray diffraction, size gold particles was determined. All contained range 2–5 nm, with as-prepared samples containing a mixture species (Au3+ Au0). The tests showed complete oxidation at temperatures lower than 100 °C, Au/ZrO2 sample presenting best performance. Both support pretreatment conditions found to cause changes species. In diffraction patterns indicated presence different phases nanometer-scale crystallites gold, which confirmed by transmission electron microscopy results. It also that cationic improved activity Au/ZrO2. Concerning stability, time on stream all stable coke deposition sintering.
