摘要: Water-soluble colloidal semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) as a new class of fluorescent probes with excellent optical properties have attracted considerable attention in bioapplications. Because the large surface-to-volume ratio QDs, especially case QDs passivated organic ligands, photoluminescence (PL) is sensitive to environmental conditions. Generally, PL behavior intracellular more complicated than that solutions due complex cellular environment. In this review, influence on thiol-capped CdTe such time-dependent spectral blueshift, photobleaching and lifetime shortening, introduced its mechanisms are discussed.
