摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the thin-layer chromatography of neutral glycosphingolipids (GSLs) and gangliosides. GSLs are compounds composed ceramide (N-acylsphingosine) one or more sugars linked glycosidically to terminal hydroxyl group sphingosine. They occur in nature as constituents biological membranes lipoproteins, usually constitute a minor fraction lipid mixture. The resolution components mixture is much better when sample applied thin band rather than spot.
