摘要: Small-scale spatial structure is important in plant ecology. Plants interact primarily with their immediate neighbors and the view of community as seen by an individual can be quite different from large-scale average. We describe a statistic that captures plant's-eye use it to illustrate strong present grassland community. Many processes affect small-scale structure, including intraspecific competition, dispersal propagules, interactions other species environment. Spatial turn affects vital growth, birth death; dynamics communities thus involve coupling processes. recent work towards making this explicit means individual-based models moments.
