摘要: Habitat corridors are important tools for maintaining connectivity in increasingly fragmented landscapes, but generally they have been considered single-species approaches. Corridors intended to facilitate the movement of multiple species could increase persistence entire communities, at likely cost being less efficient any given than a corridor specifically that species. There few tests trade-offs between single- and multispecies We assessed habitat 5 threatened mammal tropical forests Borneo. generated maps across landscape each based on species' local abundance as estimated through hierarchical modeling camera-trap data with biophysical anthropogenic covariates. Elevation influenced banded civets (Hemigalus derbyanus) sun bears (Helarctos malayanus). Increased road density was associated lower Sunda clouded leopards (Neofelis diardi) higher sambar deer (Rusa unicolor). Pig-tailed macaque (Macaca nemestrina) recently logged areas. An all-species-combined scenario least-cost paths 1 km buffers total costs were 27% 23% leopards, respectively, scenarios those individually. A carnivore scenario, however, increased by 2% leopards. Likewise, an herbivore provided more effective macaques. suggest plans be tailored groups ecologically similar, disturbance-sensitive maximize their effectiveness.
