Hydroquinone modulates reactivity of peroxynitrite and nitric oxide production.

摘要: Peroxynitrite (ONOO(-)), a potent cytotoxic oxidant formed by the reaction of nitric oxide ((.-)NO) and superoxide radical ((.-)O(2)(-)), may be rapidly lethal in cellular milieu due to oxidization nitration processes. In present study, hydroquinone displayed strong ONOO(-) scavenging activity inhibitory effect on NO production murine macrophage RAW264.7 cells. Hydroquinone strongly scavenged ONOO(-)induced dihydrorhodamine 123 oxidation dose-dependent manner compared with other reactive species such as (.-)O(2)(-) (.-)NO. also decreased levels induced nitrotyrosine glutathione reductase consequently prevented enzyme from damage. Furthermore, suppressed production, pathway for formation, lipopolysaccharide-activated cells via inhibition inducible synthase expression. The seems mediated interruption lipopolysaccharide-induced signalling activation nuclear factor-kappaB extracellular signalrelated kinases 1 2. results suggest that potently modulate reactivity therefore useful agent against diseases.
