摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses interaction of viruses with human lymphocytes. Lymphocytes have been shown to be the major cell type involved in cell-mediated ImR, and their importance host's defense against certain viral infections is illustrated by severe produced vaccinia herpes patients congenital thymic deficiency syndromes. Atypical lymphocytes appear circulation infected individuals many illnesses. In at least three, namely, infectious mononucleosis, Burkitt's lymphoma, infection cytomegalovirus, a herpes-like virus has associated A study demonstrated blastoid transformation normal after infecting leukocyte cultures EB virus, originally isolated from peripheral leukocytes taken lymphoma. During course both experimental animals man, transient depletion circulating occurs. The also highlights which lymphocytopenia was related increased titers blood spleen.
