Production of Lymphotoxin and Migration Inhibitory Factor by Established Human Lymphocytic Cell Lines

摘要: A number of continuous human lymphoid cell lines were examined for in vitro synthesis the effector molecules, lymphotoxin (LT) and migration-inhibition factor (MIF). Twenty-six a total 39 established from peripheral blood lymphocytes produced LT activity 7 8 assayed secreted MIF. The amounts elaborated varied considerably one line to another some apparently none at all. cell-toxin by 5287 displayed physical properties that analogous those phytohemagglutinin-activated normal lymphocytes.
