摘要: Targeted biocompatible nanostructures with controlled plasmonic and morphological parameters are promising materials for cancer treatment based on selective thermal ablation of cells. Here, core-shell nanodiamonds consisting a silica-encapsulated diamond nanocrystal coated in gold shell is designed synthesized. The architecture particles analyzed confirmed detail using 3-dimensional transmission electron microscope tomography. biocompatibilized PEG polymer terminated bioorthogonally reactive alkyne groups. Azide-modified transferrin attached to these particles, their high colloidal stability successful targeting cells overexpressing the receptor demonstrated. nontoxic they readily internalized upon binding receptor. cross section near-infrared region utilized quantitatively ablate short, one-minute irradiation by pulse 750-nm laser.
