摘要: Since 2000 Melbourne has grown faster than Sydney in population and employment. This is despite Sydney’s advantages having greater prominence as a global city, with stronger finance advanced producer services sectors, high visibility from hosting the Olympic Games. The paper examines number of hypotheses to why grew more such initial advantages. Depressed conditions for especially tourism, are basis an hypothesis.
